The east coast of Zamboanga city is packed with great places for exciting adventures. Several caves, waterfalls, hills and scenic views are waiting to be explored. Two of which are the Puerta Piedra falls (Dulian Falls) and Baranca River which is located in Brgy Dulian and Bunguio, respectively.

We visited Puerta Piedra falls and Baranca River.  These two places can be visited in a single day. They are close to each other. Puerta Piedra Falls literally means rock door falls. It is named like this because the water falls is partly hidden with two boulders like doors that were partly closed. Baranca river, on the other hand, has a natural pool that is perfect for rock jumping which perfect for those who'd like to up their adventure game with a little adrenaline rush.
